Even kids can do it with ease (although they do need to be at least 5 years old).
Once you master the basics, you can always continue with our advanced courses or simply move on to your first free sailing sessions and truly enjoy the fascinating world of windsurfing.

Starter lesson.
You want to see how it goes and what windsurfing is about? A starter lesson is the best choice for you if it’s your first time on the board. The lesson will take place on a light windy day when you can practice the basics.
What you can learn during the starter lesson:
- Your gear: what is a board and what is a sail.
- How to safely carry your gear around the beach.
- The easiest way to pull your sail up.
- How to get your board moving and how to stop it.
After you tried it on the beach, your lesson will continue on the water.
Beginners course
The best course for you if this is your first time on the board and you are willing to master the basics of the sport, is the beginner’s course. After this course, you should be able to practice on your own and enjoy the excitement of windsurfing!
What you can learn during your beginners course:
- Your gear: complete introduction to your board and sail.
- Wind direction and how to find your position according to the wind direction.
- How to prepare your gear and carry it around safely.
- Easiest ways to pull up the sail.
- How to get your board moving and how to stop it.
- The safeties way to fall down from the board.
- How to carry your gear in to water.
- The basics of a self rescue.
- How to turn the board 180 degrees against the wind and 180 degrees with the wind.
- The ways to steer your board.
Intermediate course.
If you have already mastered the basic techniques of windsurfing then let’s take your riding to the next level! Course includes learning the techniques of a beach start, fast tack and simple non-planning jibe/gybe.
As part of the course, your instructor will give you a diagnosis of your current level and will adjust the course to your needs.
What you learn during the beach start lesson:
- The purpose of the beach start.
- How to prepare your gear for the beach start.
- What is a “flying rig”.
- How to control the board during the beach start.
- How to get up on the board.
What you learn during the fast tack lesson:
- All advantages and disadvantages of the fast tack.
- Turn preparation.
- How to turn the board against the wind.
- How to get to the other side of the sail.
- How to turn the board away from the wind and to finish the turn.
What you learn during the jibe/gybe lesson:
- All advantages and disadvantages of the jibe.
- Turn preparation
- How to turn the board downwind.
- How to get to change your stance and flip a sail.
- How to turn the board to the wind and to finish the turn.
